1. Adults only

StrangR is for people aged 18 or older. By creating an account or using the service, you confirm that you are at least 18 and legally able to use it where you live. Do not let a minor use your account. We may restrict or close accounts when we have a reasonable basis to believe the age requirement is not met.

2. What StrangR provides

StrangR connects signed-in users for one-to-one text chat and, when enabled and supported by both browsers and networks, peer-to-peer audio/video. Matches are with other real users; availability depends on compatible users being online. We do not guarantee a match, a particular person, identity, profile accuracy, call quality, uninterrupted availability, or that another user will behave safely. StrangR is not an emergency service.

Live conversations are not recorded or stored by StrangR as chat transcripts or media recordings. A participant may still capture or share what they see or hear using separate software or devices. Do not share information you would not want another participant to retain.

3. Accounts and profiles

You must provide a unique username and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity through your account. Profile details, country, gender, and interests should be accurate and lawful to share. Do not impersonate another person or use another person’s personal information without permission.

Username changes are limited by server-side cooldowns. StrangR may require additional verification or restrict an account to protect users and the service.

4. Conduct and content rules

Do not use StrangR to post, show, send, solicit, or encourage:

• explicit nudity, exposed genitals, or sexual content;
• sexual exploitation, unwanted sexual behavior, or harassment;
• threats, violence, hate, discriminatory abuse, or targeted intimidation;
• fraud, scams, spam, extortion, illegal activity, or attempts to obtain passwords, money, or sensitive personal information;
• content or conduct that violates another person’s rights or applicable law.

Do not evade blocks, restrictions, suspensions, or bans, interfere with matchmaking or payment systems, or use bots and automation to abuse the service.

5. Safety reports, blocks, and account actions

You can block a matched user and submit a report through the in-chat controls. Blocks are used to exclude those accounts from future matches. Reports are stored for safety review; StrangR does not store video/audio evidence or message transcripts through the report flow.

StrangR may warn, restrict features, suspend, or ban an account when needed to enforce these Terms, protect users, respond to legal requirements, or prevent abuse. Actions may be temporary or permanent and may include a reason and duration in Account Settings. You may submit a free appeal for an eligible restriction. Appeals are reviewed by StrangR and are not guaranteed to change the decision.

6. Match limits and rewarded features

A qualified match is one in which both users remain connected in the same active match for at least 60 seconds. Ending or losing the session before that threshold does not qualify. The free daily allowance is 30 qualified matches, counted in UTC days and enforced by StrangR’s servers. Active PRO entitlements bypass this free-user daily cap. Daily usage is not reset by changing browsers, devices, or local storage.

StrangR has a provider-neutral rewarded-ad interface, but no ad network is currently connected; rewarded match extensions and temporary gender-filter ads are unavailable until a real provider is configured and confirms completion server-to-server. If match-extension rewards are enabled in the future, the configured schedule is up to 10 verified ads per UTC day: ads 1–5 add two qualified matches each, ads 6–10 add one each, for a maximum daily allowance of 45. No reward is granted for a skipped, failed, closed, or unverified ad. We will update these Terms if availability or reward mechanics change.

7. StrangR PRO and payments

PRO plans currently offered are one-time plans for 1, 3, or 12 months. PRO does not automatically renew and does not create a recurring charge. An active entitlement unlocks the features described at checkout, including permanent gender filtering and bypass of the free daily qualified-match cap. Exact features and PHP prices are shown before payment and may change for future purchases.

QR Ph through PayMongo is the only enabled payment method at this time. PayPal, cards, GCash, Maya, and other payment methods are not enabled. A purchase is activated only after StrangR receives server-side confirmation from the payment processor. Payment processors handle payment credentials under their own terms and privacy notices; StrangR does not receive your payment password or card credentials through its checkout flow.

Purchases are one-time and have no recurring cancellation. StrangR does not currently provide an in-app refund request control. For charge disputes, use the payment provider’s official support channel and your receipt/reference. Refund eligibility remains subject to applicable law, processor rules, and the merchant terms that apply to your purchase. Nothing in these Terms removes a mandatory consumer right.

8. Availability and changes

We may modify, pause, limit, or discontinue features, including video, TURN relaying, matchmaking, ads, or payment methods. We may take the service offline for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. When video is disabled, text chat and other functions may continue.

9. Suspension, termination, and account deletion

You may stop using StrangR and request account deletion through Account Settings. StrangR may suspend or terminate access for violations, safety risks, fraud, legal requirements, or prolonged operational changes. On account deletion, authentication and profile data are removed; certain payment, match, report, and moderation records may be retained in pseudonymous form for payment accounting, safety, fraud prevention, or legal purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers and limits

To the extent permitted by applicable law, StrangR is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that user-provided statements are true or that a conversation will be safe, respectful, or uninterrupted. You decide whether to continue a conversation and can leave, block, or report at any time. Mandatory rights and remedies under your local law remain unaffected.

11. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. This does not limit any mandatory consumer or privacy protections that apply where you live or any rights that cannot legally be waived.
